Suzanne is a Trustee of the WCA, with a particular interest in using the science of behaviour change to protect and advocate for the oceans. She is the Co-Director of Human Behaviour Change for Life (HBCL), a Community Interest Company (CIC) that provides clients from around the world with actionable, practical advice and support to understand human behaviour and apply the principles of behaviour change to their work. By embedding an understanding of human behaviour and how it can be applied to benefit humans, animals, and the natural world, we can help to nurture compassion in humans and drive social change – reflecting that humans are both the problem and the solution. Suzanne has a background in animal behaviour and welfare and is passionate about ending the keeping of cetaceans in captivity.
