Sea Safaris Lanzarote is a small, family owned operation based in Marina Puerto Calero.
Our passion is the Ocean, and since 2013 we have been observing the wonderful marine life found off the Atlantic coasts of Lanzarote and keeping detailed records of our findings. With such a huge, diverse amount of species to observe in the water surrounding Lanzarote we never know what we may encounter on our Sea Safaris.
Our records of sightings of cetaceans include: Atlantic Spotted Dolphins, Long and Short Beak Bottlenose Dolphins, Risso´s Dolphins, Rough Toothed Dolphins, Striped Dolphins, Orcas, Short Fin Pilot Whales, Bryde´s Whales, Fin Whales, Sei Whales, Humpback Whales, Sperm Whales, Blainville´s Beaked Whales, Cuvier´s Beaked Whales, and Gervais´ Beaked Whales. We are also perfectly placed to see the yearly migration of the Cory´s Shearwaters, Northern Gannets and Grey Herons.
We aim to keep our Sea Safaris personal and unique, with as little invasion into the lives of the cetaceans and other marine life that we observe. Our excursions also enable us to play our part in keeping the Ocean Clean by collecting all manner of floating debris including plastic bottles, plastic bags, beach balls, air beds, rope etc.
With a maximum of 12 passengers on our boat, each Sea Safari is an unforgettable learning experience for adults and children alike on many different levels.
