What is 1% for the Planet?

1% for the Planet is a global network with thousands of businesses and environmental organisations working together to support people and the planet. By acting as an accountability partner for businesses that are ready to reject business as usual and give back to the environment, 1% for the Planet has helped its business members to give hundreds of millions of dollars to Environmental Partners to date.

What does this mean for the WCA?

As a 1% for the Planet Environmental Partner, the WCA has been carefully vetted and approved to show that we are working for the benefit of people and the environment. We are now part of the 1% for the Planet network and can receive support directly from its business members.

1% for the Planet business members make support directly to approved Environmental Partners and can certify donations as part of their annual commitment.
