Bycatch from industrial fishing is one of the greatest threats faced by dolphins and other marine wildlife.

Every year, hundreds of dolphins are killed as the result of giant factory vessels (‘supertrawlers’) fishing in waters around the UK.

In response, the World Cetacean Alliance, including Sussex Dolphin Project, have launched #DolphinsArentDiscard – a new campaign to tackle this deadly issue, starting by demanding greater transparency and stronger legislation to hold supertrawlers to account.

Please visit our campaign page to find out more, including our full list of requests to the Pelagic Freezer-trawler Association and UK Parliament, and support our mission to stop dolphins dying in supertrawler nets.
