I think it’s fair to say that boredom is taking its toll on all of us during this period of self-isolation. Being tagged by all of your friends in social media challenges was exciting for the first week or so, but the novelty has now well and truly worn off. Daytime TV can only entertain us for so long before we all start praying for something different to be lurking around the corner. Well, WCA Partner Love the Oceans might have just answered our prayers for us…

The esteemed marine conservation charity has taken it upon themselves to lighten up our Thursday evenings by hosting a live Q&A session with prestigious guests from across the conservation world. These guests include presenters, authors, filmmakers, scientists and Netflix documentary directors, plus many more as they come together to give their take on why marine conservation is important to them, and how we can do our part to ensure our oceans remain as protected and as healthy as they can be.

Those who were absent last Thursday missed an insightful talk from award-winning photographer and speaker Danielle Da Silva as she answered questions on her most memorable photographic experiences and how she become so acclaimed within the conservation community, as well as a live chat with Love the Oceans founder Francesca Trotman on what the charity means to her.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this week’s Q&A session by tuning in to Love the Oceans’ Instagram page at 19:00 BST on Thursday evening!
