What a start to 2020! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Ian Lewis as a WCA Trustee. Ian has been a great advisor to the WCA over the last 18 months and we couldn’t be happy that he will be taking on a more formal role in the organisation. On behalf of the WCA Secretariat, WCA Partners and the WCA Trustee Board.. Welcome to the team Ian!

As we progress rapidly unto 2020 and the new decade, we are delighted to announce that Ian Lewis has joined us on the WCA Trustee Board. Ian brings a lot of wealth of experience to the board. A little bit about Ian…

Ian believes in an amazing, inspiring, beautiful world for all of life and he looks forward to rolling this out by helping where appropriate with the WCA.

Ian has spent his life working in, through and for the outdoors. His values of integrity, independence, courage and a sustainable life-style, with a quiet sense of humour, ensure both consistency and fun for those with whom he works.

Ian looks forward to his role as trustee with WCA. He has experience integrating public, private and non-profit policy and operations locally, nationally and multi-nationally, in Europe, North & Central America, Africa and the Far East. In corporate and the community-development he uses Cause Marketing, Branding and Strategic & HR Management to ensure progression.  Ian’s qualifications and experience include Education, Training and Development, Marketing & PR, Adventure Sports, Tourism & Leisure.  In the UK Ian chairs the Campaign for Adventure and the Summer Camps Trust.  He is a member of the Advisory Board, Graphik Dimensions, North Carolina. He is Founder of The Life College Ltd.

Ian is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, a Fellow and Qualified Assessor & Verifier with the Institute for Leadership and Management, OCR & NCFE.
